=(

no more performances for the rest of the year.

-sniff-
-snif-...
-SNIFF-.
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

humph. this is so devastating.

oh oh. speech day was great.

welcoming-
erm, was damn freaked at first. so we kept practicing in the foyer. we were all slacking when we saw mrs lee walk up to a car at the foyer. then we were all "omg! IS SHE THE ONE?!" it wasnt meant to be rude. no, of course not. its cause we were freaking unprepared. yeah then they continued talking & talking & talking & i had ansolutely no idea when i was supposed to start. note: MY TOE WAS FREAKING KILLING ME(currently my flesh is visible where i cut my toe. Gross.) okay, then we started & i was still nervous, but bearable since so little people were watching. i guess the welcoming was alright. except for the last part when i didnt know when to stop either. i ended up missing the last part but the guest of honour hopefully wasnt able to hear cause she was already walking away.

prize presentation-
after the welcoming & photo taking was over, rushed back to change & then to the hall. was damn awkward when i entered the hall. was still as awkward when i went on stage to receive my prize. was still awkward when i rushed back to the arts conservatory to change into the costume. anyway. then i rushed to put on makeup(speed change, new record!)

"Vitality" syf performance-
/last performance for speech day celebration-
omg. one word, LOVE. everyone was damn stable & in time. great great performance. but. its the last performance of the year for sec twos & threes. =(((

& lastly.
JIA YOU sec ones! no matter what, we believe in you!

teachers SO rule.

teacher's do the funniest things dont you agree. but how could we love them any less?

"winning isnt everything. but its something lah." quouted from our Pe teacher
(note the way he has skillfully managed to link his sentences & end it so gracefully with a "lah")

"what the heck is this?! why got liquid one?!" quouted from our math/physics teacher
(note the oh-so-scientific term she uses to address the unknown liquid which some student left on the teacher's table in a container after art)

"unsex me here" quouted from our literature teacher (macbeth, shakespeare)
(note the emphasis on the first word when our lit teacher dramatized the scene out over and over again)

"if we have failed to educate you, we would wish not to be associated with you" quouted from our english teacher
(note the use of superb vocab in the sentence she wishes to be used against us)

but seriously, the one thing that teachers havent and need to learn is to chill.

the difference between now & then
proudly presented to you by amanda yew shu hui
(completely original, but if it's similar to any other source please inform me)
(if you'd like to contribute, by all means do so.)

then
woman would "accidentally" drop their hankies & men would pick it up for them
now
you'd get fined for even dropping tissue on the floor

then
only boys were allowed education
now
woman still ended up being smarter than man

then
men thought they were superior
now
woman are just humble about their superioty

then
people feared falling of the "edge of the world"
now
people just jump off buildings to save the time & money$ of travelling to the end of the world

then
people(mainly chiken little) thought the sky was falling
now
the ozone's too empty to fall with all those holes in it

then
newspaper was stamped letter by letter
now
they print out so many that our poor old grannies' eyesights have detoriated untill the point when everytime they see their grandchild it seems to them that they've grown taller

then
in school we learned stuff
now
we get turned into lil goody goodies with the oh-so-smart looking long green skirt, the clean high white socks & the most intelligent looking tucked in yellow blouse which has four buttons exposed, no less, no more

gone.

the emotions are gone. whats left are the numb memeries i hold on to. everyone knows we cant start anew. but even when i try, i cant start again.

its not that i dont want to. i'd die for the chance. its not a lie, its just that you didnt know it yet. but how come when one mistake can make the world hate you, its the world you hate the most in the moment when no one else believes you.

i was wronged, but you werent. then how come everyone makes it seem like its the other way around. how do you get by with that horrid plastic smile across your face? why is it that you can stare straight at me as though nothing has happened?

and why when both of us are equally helpless, everyone leaves me falling while they help the "victim".

You Mostly Have Your Emotions in Check
Sometimes your emotions get out of control, but you usually are a pretty stable person. You can find a lot to be happy about, as long as things are going your way.But if a few bad things happen to you, you tend to go in a bit of a downward spiral.Luckily, you usually come out of it okay and no worse for the wear.

uh huh. thats a lil' hard to imagine, dont you think?

@ 9:48 PM

i cant take it anymore,
my life is going to somewhere down to the sewage system.

i know you care.
but i just cant bring myself to tell you whats wrong.
after all, i cant force you to keep it to yourself.

& than there's always the judgement part.

life's not perfect, i know
& we dont always get what we want
but what if its not something we want
but something we need

you dont understand what im going through
its not as simple as you think

but how come whenever anyone else is wrong in this world
they still get what they ask for
& even what they dont ask for
how come its that easy for others

how come its so hard for me
to even get someone to listen
or someone to actually read this

this is going nowhere
its useless to me, to you, to any living soul whose heart still exists

but
i need you to know
that this is something i need
and not want

ughh.

who the hell are you to critisize someone else's pronounciation when you yourself pronounces "properly" as "pOperly" & "probability" as "probabaly".

oh & just so that you actually realise, we do not appreciate your coming into class & telling us how dirty our classroom & how you dont like it & how we cant be bothered to clear up our stuff.

now just do us the favour of shutting up for that few minutes of crap you always bring along every lesson & who knows maybe all 39 of us and you may get to live 5 years l0nger.

but i understand, of course, how difficult this task may be for a woman of your mentality & i most sinerely hope that you dont hurt your brain in the process of SHUTTING THE HELL UP.

nono, its not that we dont pay attention in class or we dont hand in our work on time. but lady, you've got to understand that we have to stand through your oh-so-wonderful letures every time you even look into our classroom even before we are forcefully supposed to greet you.

so remind me again, whats the difference between a secondary school kid who accidentaly blurted out a word "teak" instead of "thick" & a freaking old one who cant even pronounce "probably" & "properly" correctly? oh yeah, one of them actually have the ability to keep their mouth shut for five minutes.

with all do respect, its not that we hate you, its just that we really really hate you.
